M-K Kenney is Vice-President, Production at Universal Television; a division of NBCUniversal. She is the production executive overseeing NBC’s State of Affairs, Grimm, and The Slap.  A native of Bucaramanga, Colombia, Ms. Kennedy’s career in Television began shortly after graduating from the University of Notre Dame with a degree in Communications and Theatre.  She joined the Hispanic Heritage Awards Foundation in 1998.  In 2003, she moved to Miami to take a position with Telemundo Studios.  During her tenure at Telemundo, Ms. Kennedy relocated to Mexico City where she led the team that created Telemundo Studios Mexico.  It was during her 3 years in Mexico that M-K met her husband, Victor Horcasitas, a producer, painter and photographer.  They now live in Los Angeles with their one-year-old daughter.

Dr. White is a graduate of UCLA and Princeton Theological Seminary with a PhD in Religion and History from Princeton University. He has studied at Lincoln Theological College in England. He has been honored with a Doctor of Humane Letters from Whitmore University. He has taught at UCLA, Princeton Theological Seminary, Whitmore University, Colorado College, Rider University and San Francisco Theological Seminary. He is a Fellow at the Huntington Library, Visiting Professor of History at UCLA, and a Senior Fellow of the Trinity Forum. He is the author of the bestseller A. Lincoln: A Biography (2009).

A military Journey

Patti has devoted years of her life serving her country as a military nurse and now volunteers her time serving wounded servicemen and women for Operation Mend. She retired from the Army Nurse Corps in 2002. She came to UCLA in 2003 as the clinical nurse specialist for the Liver Transplant Unit. After retiring from UCLA in 2008, she returned to the UCLA School of Nursing as a lecturer and mentor. She served during the Vietnam War, Desert Shield and Desert Storm as a military nurse and finished as a commander.  She was selected as the National Nurse of the Year in the category of community service for the Nursing Excellence Award in 2010.

Jeffrey Veale, M.D.

Dr. Jeffrey Veale is an Associate Professor of Surgery at the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine in the Department of Urology.  He attended the University of Calgary where he received his bachelor degree in Zoology and his medical degree.  He trained at the University of Manitoba in Urology and at UCLA in Renal Transplantation.  He is the Director of the UCLA Kidney Exchange Program.  This innovative program helped pioneer the first transcontinental “chain” transplantation.

The calling

Swiss-American keyboardist Greg Manning has performed on stages throughout the U.S., Europe, United Kingdom, and Asia. While growing up in Zurich, Switzerland, Manning was mostly exposed to jazz by his parents.  He started playing piano at age 12.  He studied piano and film scoring at the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston.  He made his U.S. debut as the keyboardist for the 2000 “Back at One Tour”.  Over the last several years, Manning has focused more on composing and writing.  He released his debut album, The Calling, in 2010.  He is a three-time certified platinum producer for Universal Music Switzerland.  Greg Manning’s new single “Dance with You”, which he released in 2013, is currently #7 on the Billboard chart for Contemporary Jazz radio play.
